Title: how to disable Sparky upgrade check on boot?
Post by: vp_nbi on June 10, 2020, 09:12:25 PM
How do I permanently disable the boot time Sparky upgrade check? It always gets stuck in a loop and I end up doing everything manually. Nice idea, but no point of having it enabled if it doesn't work right. I think what's tripping it up are missing packages due to inaccessible repositories.

You have two choices:
1. Uninstall 'sparky-aptus-upgrade-checker' package.
or
2. Run menu-> System-> System Upgrade Scheduler, there is an option to disable it.
