Title: Network Questions - resolvconf
Post by: g3lux on March 07, 2021, 12:20:46 AM
Hello there.
Im testing SparkyLinux using Testing. (at time of writing)

On Mx-Linux i used "resolvconf" package, to make /etc/resolv.conf static across all my network connections (wifi, eth, etc)
i tried using "resolvconf" package, to do the same, editing /etc/resolvconf/resolv.conf.d/head, but i end up with /etc/resolv.conf empty.

I saw that by default NetworkManager by default writes /etc/resolv.conf but didn't find how to change it...

Also i see on testing, that by default it doesnt use predictible interface names, as on boot it has eth0. i didn't find any options on /etc/default/grub, to do this behavior. how could i control this? (i prefer eth0 personally, but learning how to control)

Thank you
