Post by: AxL on February 07, 2023, 10:45:45 PM
(https://i.imgur.com/bDtcOwK.gif) This afternoon, reading some threads on Siduction forum; I came across this interesting thread:

Where a major change to the non-free repository is noted. And that is the creation of a new repository exclusively for the firmware, called 'non-free-firmware'.
(As explained in the above link)

Quote[....] Users of sid and testing need to apply a change to their Debian sources.list to be able to obtain firmware-updates in the future.

No matter if you have non-free and /or contrib in your sources already, please add:

non-free-firmware

to /etc/apt/sources.list

deb https://deb.debian.org/debian/ testing main contrib non-free non-free-firmware
