Hi all!
I have been running Sparky on my laptop and I really like it.
I only miss a battery indicator in the LQXT installation.
Is there a way to add one to the system tray?
Regards,
Archie.
Hi.
Some distros did not offer battery-plugin indicator in panel,so you need to add it by your self.I am not very sure about LXQT but in XFCE ( that i'm using), you can install it by Synaptic, xfce4-goodies or xfce4-battery-plugin. Also you can find in internet as xfce4-battery-plugin.deb
try freenode #lxde on irc. That is where the LXQT hang out. OFTC #lxde is LXDE. They are still working on getting to 1.0 version, but if you are commited to QT5 instead of gnome, it is a much smoother ride with LXQT than KDE presently. Bug tracker is at https://github.com/LXDE/lxqt/issues. I wish you luck.
Hi...i am a new user here. I have seen a device that you plug it in electric outlet, then router ethernet cable to that plug, next then to any/many socket outlet in your home you plug the other of pair/sets, and short ethernet cable to computer.

Fdpowermon is a good tray applet. There are several "docker" applets for battery that I know work with the Openbox Window Manager. See
http://lxlinux.com/dock.html. There is an interesting battery indicator that rides along the edge of your screen. I think it was called
xbattbar.
If you use fbpanel, you can use a genmon plugin. See
http://lxlinux.com/fbpanel.html.
