There are not big differences between the tiny wm's.
The most important for me is that it should be useful and easy to configure.

My Mother uses Google Chrome only so I installed JWM from Synaptic Package Manager. I did on top of LXDE 3.6 with non PAE---32 bit. I used the LXDE 3.6 32bit iso as it is out of the box version. So JWM is enough. And as you said LXDE is configurable and readily usable for my laptop.
