Title: After last dist-upgrade, resolv.conf (and thus DNS) got broken
Post by: CodeFarmer on September 18, 2022, 09:34:01 AM
My resolv.conf became a broken symlink into /var/run/systemd/resolve/ (I think, memory not 100% and my bash history does not remember) which doesn't exist.

I got back online by putting a super simple resolv.conf in by hand, but this seems like another of those "systemd will take care of all those boring /etc files for you now, stop worrying about how things work" moments.

Has anything changed recently in systemd DNS world, and what's the right way for me to get back into the mainstream?
