Title: New language optional during installation?
Post by: pccobbler on May 29, 2019, 08:42:48 PM
During installation of LXDE, I was asked for the language to use for LibreOffice and other applications. The way things were worded, it appeared that it was not optional, but perhaps I misunderstood. When I looked at the list of available languages, American English was not included, so I was forced to select British English. So should I have canceled the dialog asking for a new language?

The default language of the live system is American English anyway so, if you did not choose other language during installation, you do not have to re-localize it.

Thanks for the response.

So to ask another dumb question, what happens when I cancel the dialog asking me for a language for LibreOffice and other applications? It just goes away?
