Hi,

I upgraded from Sparky 7 semi-rolling to Sparky 8 Seven-Sisters, in order to fix a problem that actually had some other cause.  I am using MATE DT.  Now the mate-panel is crashing with errors such as these:

It crashes about 5 minutes after I re-ordering some of the Window List buttons using the mouse.  Upon restarting the panel, all the Window List buttons are re-ordered in some way, not the order I had.

I never saw this problem in Sporky 7.  Also I can't use VirtualBox in Sparky 8, it says "Kernel driver not installed (rc=-1908)".  I don't need Sparky 8.  Is there a way to downgrade in-place to Sparky 7 ?

thanks very much

I think I will just re-install.

There is definitely NO such possibility.
