Hello from a newbie

Hi, my name is Jim.

I stumbled across Sparky by accident recently when I was looking for a Linux OS.
I have an old 2010 iMac and I tried all sorts of distros, like Manjaro, Elementary, Mint, Lubuntu, Zorin.
None of them would run satisfactorily on the old iMac. Diabolical!

Then I found Sparky and installed it.

Wow! Everything runs perfectly and it runs fast!
Sparky even detected the in-built Apple Superdrive, which no other Linux OS would detect or run.
Needless to say I am very happy.
My old Apple desktop now has a new lease of life.

Thank you so much to all the developers that made Sparky, I am very grateful and will make a donation in the near future
