Hi,
I am running Sparky 7, rolling, kernel 6.0.0-6 on an AMD Ryzen 5 4500 U with Radeon Graphics.
I noticed that DE Mate and Cinnamon were compromised while there were no problems with Openbox or XFCE on the same machine.
Mate:
window title bars vanished, thus no chance to maximize, minimize or close
panels  moved or were lost, panel items were lost
de- and reinstallation solved part of the problem, window title bars still vanished
Cinnamon:
panel applets were exchanged, menu applet disappeared
de- and reinstallation solved the problem

Has anyone experienced a similar problem and knows the reason to avoid future problems?

Best, CMS

XFCE is now affected as well
marco
Some further infos:
Opening applications in MATE squeezes them into a tiny window in the upper left corner of the screen, no chance to move it
starting "MARCO --REPLACE" in a terminal regains full functionality of all windows with title bars reappearing
once you close the terminal nothing functions an ymore

the terminal prompts the following messages concerning MARCO:
log level 128: unsetenv() is not thread-safe and should be used after threads are created
Buggy client sent a _NET_ACTIVE WINDOW message with a time stamp of 0 for 0x1c0000c (Advanced M)
meta_window_activate called by a pager with a 0 time stamp; the pager needs to be fixed
