Happy new years! After an update this morning, my computer desktop environment froze up (the mouse movements were still responsive). Trying to reboot the  system yielded this output and failure to launch into the desktop

Not sure how to proceed. Can somebody assist me in rolling back an update from a shell? Or maybe somebody knows of a fix?

I erased my ssd and installed ubuntu instead.

What you have is a serious problem with the NVMe SSD disk.
NO problem with Debian / SparkyLinux updates.

➤ Or, point your browser to "manpages.debian.org/<pkg-name>" .... RTFM !!!
