Welcome. I've just installed Sparky on my Matebook and I have no sound after the fresh installation. What is strange, I used Sparky in the past on the same laptop and everything was ok.

The system says it's unable to find any soundcard - no input or output devices found, so I can't use my microphone, too.

When i run aplay --list-devices I get:

aplay: device_list:275: no soundcards found...

When I run /sbin/lsmod | grep snd I get:

nd_hda_intel          57344  0
snd_intel_dspcfg       36864  1 snd_hda_intel
snd_intel_sdw_acpi     20480  1 snd_intel_dspcfg

lspci shows the output:

How can I fix the lack of the sound? I need simple, step-by step instructions, because I'm rather a beginner user of Linux. Thank You in advance :)

EDIT:

I have just installed the newest kernel, because i thought it could help, but nothing changed...
