Hi!
I met a problem.
When I wanted to upgrade some packages, like xfsprogs or linux-image, a series of Warning appeared, like that:

I: The initramfs will attempt to resume from /dev/sda2
I: (UUID=0e8df217-c23e-4989-93a3-f2c8a39d9b57)
I: Set the RESUME variable to override this.

Perhaps that's because of I deleted firmware-b43-installer and firmware-b43legacy-install from /lib/dpkg/status, because I always failed to install them.

Does anyone know how to solve it? Thanks.

I have those warnings too. Searching for mentioned files with apt-file search shows that firmware-misc-nonfree provides missing firmware, but it seems versions are bit outdated.
Just an example search results
******@******:~$ apt-file search skl_huc
firmware-misc-nonfree: /lib/firmware/i915/skl_huc_ver01_07_1398.bin
******@******:~$ apt-file search kbl_huc
firmware-misc-nonfree: /lib/firmware/i915/kbl_huc_ver02_00_1810.bin

Personally I'm going to relax and wait for update.

Hi!
According to some articles, I downloaded some bin file in
https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git/tree/i915
Which were reported in the warning, and move them to /lib/firmware/i915
Am I right?
