Possibly
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=948257#105

kmod and intiramfs problem if I read right.

My kmod in sid is now kmod 26+ 20191223-1
My initramfs-tools-core is 0.136   I have not seen errors in Sid-Unstable for a couple days. Sid is on SDHC on atom.

My 4 y.o. Sparky testing is on the hdd on same atom and not booted in several days.  36 hours work on Tuesday am.  Someone else can post what initramfs... is at in testing.  Site unexpectedly down for
https://packages.debian.org/sid/initramfs-tools-core

You can try later.  Off to work again.

I observed multiple kmod errors when kernel bumps upgrades occured in i386 Debian sid  Sway Wayland on an atom.

Ok. I more a newbie to linux... but try to figure it out. I did :

sudo apt-get purge nvidia*

after deleting all nvidia related stuff, sparky starts normal as before. (But i need dxvk, so nouveau is not enough)

after a normal sudo apt-get update
and  sudo apt-get upgrade it installs all the nvidia stuff from repo... but still broken.

if i should try to experiment with this kmod/initramfs, i need more reading, cause i dont know yetwhat it is, or does :D.

Thank you for your help!

I saw the kmods and my first thought was the bug I posted.  But maybe it did not get to Testing - Rolling - PoTolo.  Most showstopper bugs get addressed in Sid but this one had the potential to get by, just erroneous error messages.

Nvidia is probably the culprit.  I do not have any Nvidia so I do not keep up on it.  It appears the GTX770 came out in 2014ish.  It should be fairly well supported in Debian now, but I am not an expert at Nvidia.

i thank you for your time anyway... tried that fix, but does not work... i guess i made some mistake weeks ago... so my kernel and the dependencies are like fucked up....maybe i justfresh install it all.
