I've successfully installed SonicWall netExtender on my sparkylinux cinnamon set up. However, when I try to load it, I get this error message.

I have openjdk-11 components installed. I'm perplexed as to what I need to install to satisfy this dependency.

There was a problem laoding the NetExtender JNI library. Please reinstall NetExtender, and make sure you have a compatible version of Java installed. SonicWall recommends Sun Java 1.4 or higher.

What version Sparky.  5 0r 6?

How did you install  Specifically did you cd "sudo ./install"  or use a root terminal.  NOTE:  "su root" does not work anymore - you must log in as root as "su - root"  \
or did you use the installer.

It seems to specifically specify Sun Java.  It has been awhile since I have used that.

Also under pre-requisites it lists 7 year old OS's   Ubuntu 12.04 being one example.  It lists Internet Explorer in the Windoze section.  That is one old web site.  It also loads very slowly and the links to go further down the same web page do not work for me.

I would say that stepping back, looking at what you want  and then finding the best open source tools to accomplish it would be a worthwhile investment of time.
