[RESOLVED] BIOS? Command lines at startup

When I start my pc with Sparky, during the course of the bios, appears two lines that of course, head of newbie that I am ..., I do not understand?

BIOS ? Lignes de commandes au démarrage

Lorsque je démarre mon pc avec Sparky, lors du déroulement du bios, apparait deux lignes que bien sur, tete de newbie que je suis..., que je ne comprends pas ?

Hello,

When you have these messages, the BIOS has already passed the operating system. He does not show it.

If you want to have the details of everything that happens when starting the computer, you have the dmesg command. For example sudo dmesg | more will list line after line all the events (it's hearty!). There are plenty of filters and levels (dmesg -h to know them).

Sincerely, this type of message does not mean much. If you do not notice any noticeable slowdown in startup and no problem in your use of the computer, it is better to give up.

If it worries you, by launching a google search with bits of your messages, we arrive at best on this kind of page. So it looks like we could remove that by adding options to the boot line in the grub configuration. But, I repeat, the best sometimes reveals itself as an enemy of good.

Quand tu as ces messages, le BIOS a déjà passé la main au système d'exploitation. Ce n'est pas lui qui affiche ça.

Si tu veux avoir le détail de tout ce qui se passe au démarrage de l'ordi, tu as la commande dmesg. Par exemple sudo dmesg | more te listera ligne après ligne tous les événements (c'est copieux !). Il existe plein de filtres et de niveaux (dmesg -h pour les connaître).

Sincèrement, ce type de message ne signifie pas grand chose. Si tu ne constates aucun ralentissement notable dans le démarrage et aucun souci dans ton utilisation de l'ordinateur, il vaut mieux laisser tomber.

Si ça t'inquiète, en lançant une recherche google avec des bouts de tes messages, on arrive au mieux sur ce genre de page. Il semble donc qu'on pourrait supprimer ça en ajoutant des options à la ligne de boot dans la configuration de grub. Mais, je le répète, le mieux se révèle parfois ennemi du bien.
