Just to update my previous year (2017) question about a Debian based distribution that have a web GUI to manage it like pfsense or opnsense to a firewall.

I found the answer to my question. This little software that allow full control of a debian (and others also) based install only using the browser, so no need for a monitor plugged or a GUI to work with the server.

I have not only found, but the news is even better, I found a nice one software to completly manage a Debian server without having an actual GUI installed, and can make it so by Browser.
This one should be included into Debian repos, where can I make such a suggestion? (another question, I know...)

hi Pawel,

I've read your posted plans about the future of SparkyLinux. My Thinkpad X220 actually runs with sparky 5 under kernel 14.5.12-sparky

Whats about further kernels in the future? will you develope them, too? Or does the next Sparkylinux use the official Debian kernels only?

Is there a need to switch from my Mate to LXQt  to get all the necessary updates?

sorry for asking these questions, but I am relatively new in Linux.

The only one change is about the new iso images number to be created, nothing else.
All tools and packages with no changes.
All supported desktops with no changes, so if you use MATE or any different desktop - simply keep it up to date.

Hi pavroo! I've an idea for sparky..
Maybe we need an app center, like manjaro or solus, because sometimes we need install differents software (like pycharm or anyone) but can't install from the official page, because this haven't a .deb package..
I've used solus and manjaro and these distros have a lot of apps to install via the app center/installer..

Maybe the APTUS can be our app center, just need add more software and change your appearence using HTML5.

What do you think?

There is an idea of upgrade aptus to 0.5.x version rebuilding it to a software center.
It could use html5 technology and use yad or jade or electron on other technology.
But not time in this moment.
