New to Sparky #1 of 2: Trackpad issues

Hi guys, the first of my two first posts. I'm new to Sparky but not to Linux.

I got my installation up and running last night -- very easy, and very good-looking too. I'm impressed.

I'm running 4.8 (Debian stable, Openbox) on an Asus E200H. All is well, except that the trackpad seems to be running on a mouse driver -- it's very twitchy and it's hard to make precise selections. I'm guessing that I'm noit the first to suffer from this, and I wonder if there's a familiar workaround?
