Hi! So i successfully installed Sparky in fail safe mode but now i can't get it to boot properly without putting my monitor into sleep/low power mode, what commands should i try to add to it before it boots? Edit: the error message i get is "Failed to find cpu0 device node" i am using 32bit not but i tried it with a 64bit version first. Edit2:resolution after some tinkering with boot commands I added acpi=off vga=off and it allow me to boot.

I suppose you have more than 1 CPU core so if you have 32 bit OS installed, simply install 686-pae Linux kernel, then reboot.
Nothing is easy as it looks. Danielle Steel
