What have you researched so far?  What is your target machine and how will you be using it?

HOAS - HeadOnAStick has several good posts about it on BunsenLabs forum and also on Debian Forum.

I am under the impression that trim is pretty well integrated into the kernel these days. 

The only thing I have said for awhile in these sorts of posts at #!, etc. is that if all you have is an ssd (as in my old eee901) - then if you need (or desire) a /swap, use a cheap SDHC for it.  /tmp and /var can go there too, but I didn't and still do not.  For the attached fstab sdb is a SDHC.  /swap is on sdb1and is for an Asus eee netbox, 

Here is my fstab  I am not saying that this is the way to go.
