Hi,
I'm getting a very long list of errors during upgrade.
Here's a short random selection of what I see:

dpkg: error processing package heimdal-servers (--configure):
dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of heimdal-servers-x:
heimdal-servers-x depends on heimdal-servers; however:
Package heimdal-servers is not configured yet.
heimdal-servers-x depends on openbsd-inetd | inet-superserver; however:
Package openbsd-inetd is not configured yet.
  Package inet-superserver is not installed.
Package openbsd-inetd which provides inet-superserver is not configured yet.

dpkg: error processing package heimdal-servers-x (--configure):
dependency problems - leaving unconfigured

There are many other similar errors about other packages.  Here's the list of packages that I get at end of errors.
Errors were encountered while processing:
udev
linux-image-4.0.0-2-amd64
samba
winbind
libnss-winbind:amd64
libpam-winbind:amd64
resolvconf
alsa-utils
bind9
openbsd-inetd
ctdb
libctdb-dev:amd64
heimdal-servers
heimdal-servers-x

Is there a way to deal with these all at once or is each error going to need an individual solution?
This is just the last bit of the list of problems, it's hundreds of lines long with many other packages involved... this is a small sample that seemed relevant to the first error at top.

If reinstalling seems best I'm fine with that.

Have you updated package list before ?

If you mean apt-get update, yes.  Followed by apt-get upgrade.  I do that regularly.

The cups part of the problem is likely caused by my still unsuccessful attempts to get my printer working again.  Some time ago I noticed it wouldn't print anymore and likely screwed something up trying to sort that out.  For all I know my actions are the cause of all these problems I see now.

I lost all audio also for what it's worth. I always had audio issues however.  My USB speakers did not work well with this distro.

At this point I will likely reinstall Sparky if I decide keep using it. I should probably just start fresh. I've also got a working ElementaryOS installation that I've been playing with.  I will likely dual boot one of them with Windows in the near future.

I've really enjoyed Sparky, it is the first Linux distro that I was able to use for all my needs.  I've learned enough to mess things up nicely!

Thanks for your work!
Drew
