Dear Slyvester
Thank's a lot what you have wrote - it's very kind of you.

The fact is that I have started Sparky and I work full time on it so yes - I take care of Sparky the most but it's not only me.
There are a few guys not often visible on the forum like me, but it doesn't mean that they don't exist.
They get their voluntary job in a shadow, you probably never seen them.
Some of them help me fixing problems, someones keep an eye on the forums, someones manage community pages, etc., etc.
If you see me on the forums the most time, or Jesse publish my name I released Sparky, it does mean that there are not other guys in the shadow helping me and Sparky in a way they can.

Anyway I am happy that you enjoy Sparky and hope you will stay with us long.

p.s.
I've seen what you wrote before, but having overloaded head I just focused on the technical aspect of your question :)

Pavroo,

Many thanks for your friendly answer. I came to SparkyLinux very unexpectably. About a year from now I read a post from a french helper - Lancien that I greet if he should read this - on the forum of the french site "linuxmnt-fr.org" saying roughly this : " ... I installed Sparkylinux on an old portable for my wife to make sure she never gets stuck and that I never get problems with her p.c. ...". That's how I decided to install SparkyLinux, at first just to give it a try 'cause I was planning to install Debian "testing" Jessie but I never did.

So, don't worry now that I found SparkyLinux, I'll stick to it !

I use GC under xubuntu and linux lite uses a same problematic line in
/etc/default/grub
...
GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR="`lsb_release -d -s

this will cause corrupted grub menus

GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR="`lsb_release -i -s
is what ubuntu uses

check gparted to see what partition actually has the boot  flag set.

Many thanks Galen, but this is exactly what I've got on my all my distributions.

Sometimes strange things can happen. After a long update + a loooooong upgrade + some cleaning action, I typed in terminal  : sudo os-prober + sudo grub-customizer and ... miracle my grub-customizer showed up, back & ready for action !
