Hi all,
sorry if this sounds stupid but can't find a page where the login/passwd for CLI edition is written.
A forum search did not point me to the right direction...Google was not helpful .

Kind regards

It's not a stupid question and the information is not that obvious. The root user doesn't have a password by default. You do a "sudo su" from your users account (or "live" account if it's a LiveCD, sometimes you have to type in your own password or the "live" password for the LiveCD) to enter the root account. Then you can run "passwd" to set the root's password if you need to login directly.
There's no such thing as "impossible". :)
