<SOLVED>Changing Digital Clock Font Color

I'm having a hard time seeing the digital clock on my taskbar, because the taskbar is light-gray and the clock letters are white. How do I change the color of the digital clock font?

I'm not familiar with the way the clock is formatted. Where should I go to learn the different commands to put into the "clock format" field in clock settings?

P.S. I'm doing a lot of traveling this winter, so I'll be using my laptop more. You may expect me to be more active on the forums for a while. I'm in an airport lobby right now :) Again, great job with SparkyLinux.

I found "man 3 strftime" and read it, so my second question is more or less answered. However, I didn't see anything about changing the font, so I'd still like help with that if possible.

Thanks!

Right click on the panel-> Panel settings-> Appearance tab-> Custom color
Nothing is easy as it looks. Danielle Steel
