Some people are having problems displaying images so here is a solution .



Go to http://imgur.com/



Register  (It's FREE) - Once registered it is easy to upload images.

Once uploaded you can copy and paste a snippet of code which then shows your image in the forum.  8-)

Perhaps when in the forum Profile editor requirements for avatar should be listed? I tried uploading a wallpaper to find 'em ...

No Somewhat-Reticent - people are having trouble posting images of their desktop

I made an explanation somewhere already about that. I don't have enough space on the server to keep all yours pictures, sorry.

So upload it to a sharing photos service and place a link here.

just an explanation on how to formulate the link would be nice i've never had to post a pic before ..("yes i know" how do you use forums for over 20yrs & not know that ) I've never had to ...so i just pasted a link to me facebook ...

When in a forum, I use the 'Quote' function to reveal the prevailing coding format:



  • Find a forum comment that successfully posted an image

  • Use the "Quote" link above it, as if you intended to use it in a new comment

  • Examine the code(s) around the link to reveal the format




Try it, and describe your experience and results.

that doesn't really help ...lol i don't know how to use "quote either ...lol" i can paste a link from dropbox but what do i type before/after it.?
